Narrator- While a young boy was grazing his cattle he cried out from over a hill

 

Boy- Help! Here comes the wolf! Please, here comes the wolf! Farmers, help me!

(He puts his hand to his mouth to shout)

 

Narrator- People left their work, and promptly assist him

To find out it is just a trick

 

Peasant-  (She leaves her tools down and runs away. When they got to where Pedro stood, they get angry)

 

Narrator- Pedro calls them again and the farmers are afraid something wrong has happened.

 

Boy- Please, here comes the Wolf! Help!

            (Shouting and giggling)

 

Peasant- (They leave everything again and run away. When they get to him they are even angrier)

 

Narrator – But now the wolf really comes!

 

Wolf- (As she enters, she howls with heavy tread)

 

Peasant- Please help me! It will eat my sheep!

 

 

Narrator- No matter how much the boy stamps, boy shouts and cries. No one will help him!

 

(He falls to the ground, pretends to shout, cries and puts his hands around his neck)

 

Narrator- People wary won’t move and the Wolf devours his herd

 

Farmer- (She pretends to be listening and keeps on working.) I don’t believe you any more! You’re a liar!

 

Wolf- She pretends to be eating sheep

 

Narrator- How often the trickster turns,

Of a trick the most hurt
